Pain in chest when exercising?

Time to see doctor: Chest pain is a sign that she should see her doctor; or go to an ER if pain is moderate or worrisome. In young adults, chest pain is less likely a heart attack. She should not drive (get a ride, or go by ambulance). If it turns out not to be costochondritis, myocarditis, anxiety attack symptoms, or heart attack, the ER will also have checked for problems like a collapsed lung or a pneumonia.
