Left abdomen: Upper left abdominal discomfort can be caused by pathology in the spleen, gas or inflammation in the splendid fkexure of the colon or simple muscle strain, Lower left colon distress is also caused by muscular problems, inflammatory bowel disease or diverticulitis. If discomfort persists and especially if there's associated tenderness see a physician for evaluation
