I have a feeling of something in my throat, like tightness, but i have no pain and i can eat and drink normally. what could cause this?

Hard to say: The linings of the swallow tube are not provided sensory endings like the surface skin so any feelings are somewhat hard to localize. Backwash of stomach acid upwards can cause irritation/sores that can trigger spasms. Antacid tablets might help some. This can also be from a suppressed fear of choking or other issue. A visit with your doc or a GI doc might help you sort this out.
