A member asked:

Does every patient who meets clinical criteria for a disease get diagnosed? or is it up for interpretation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No. Yes.: The practice of medicine is an art. Most aspects of the practice should be "up for interpretation." If the human "art" part of medicine is removed and replaced by mere clinical criteria... that probably will not be a good day.
