My 2year old daughter has had a fever of 100.6 f to 102.2 f for the past two days. she seen a dr yesterday, but just by looking at her they said nothing was wrong. should i take her back for blood and urine test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

About fevers...: For minor illnesses like a cold, fevers go away by themselves. Most people use over-the-counter drugs like Tylenol (acetaminophen), Motrin, or Advil for relief of such symptoms. If a person has had prior infections more than usual, or is looking sickly, she can recheck with her doctor. Each case is individually decided upon regarding the need for exams and lab tests. Hard to predict one's future.
