A member asked:

I didnt have sex just dry humping, without penetration but now my period is late for 4 days, could this be a sign of pregnancy?

Not necessarily: Pregnancy requires actual sex, not dry humping. Even women who are usually regular can skip a cycle occasionally. If there have been other occasions when you did have sex, a late cycle may indicate pregnancy.

Hormonal imbalance: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
