I started having a sore throat on wednesday the 25th september. started coughing on friday 27th september. have coughing fits when lying down today and very tight chest. worse when lying down. i am in adco amoxyclav bd anti-biotic. what should i do?

Flu test: If you have flu like symptoms, your PCP may be able to treat with Tamiflu and evaluate for signs of wheezing or asthma. If your cough lingers for more than 3 weeks or if there is a fever for more than 3 days, please see your PCP. In the meantime, rinse nasal passages with saline and stay well hydrated. Usually viral illnesses self resolve. Emergency department for shortness of breath/chest pain.
