It Depends...: This depends on whether your symptoms are related to a complication of the mirena. Abdominal pain COULD be related to Mirena complication. Fever COULD be related to a mirena complication. If your tummy bug has associated diarrhea then this would make me think your current symptoms are LESS likely to be an IUD related complication. Check with your OB who placed it for guidance.
