Femara ?'s: Letrozole (Femara) is a drug which can assist in causing ovulation. The medication may not always be followed by ovulation, so a "6th day of missed period" is not unusual. IUI only is successful if ovulation is achieved and fertilization occurs. If ovulation is delayed, a pregnancy test on "day six" may not be accurate. If no period occurs, get a serum HCG to be certain about pregnancy.
