Shoulder pain: Popping or snapping is almost always osteoarthritis (i.e., getting older, bone rubbing on bone, pain), but you always have to worry about torn ligament. Go see in person doc and get good shoulder and back exam to rule out any structural abnormality. If arthritis, only one great treatment -- move/ exercise (e.g., swimming). The more you move, the less pain.
