A member asked:

I have a large and hard lumb on my breast? it is sensitive? what must i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Time to see doctor: A mass found in any breast should be examined by her primary care doctor (or the ER if primary doctor unavailable). If cancer is suspected, special studies can be done. Treatment is more successful if a cancer is found earlier rather than later. If the mass is found not to be cancer, the doctor can offer advice and treatment too. Non-cancerous causes include breast cysts, breast infections, etc...
