Check iUD position: You need to have a GYN MD check the accuracy of the position of the IUD by examination especially if you cannot feel the IUD string at the cervical opening. There also may be a intrauterine/tubal infection present that may need immediate treatment as bacteria can occasionally work its' way up the iUD string into the uterus.
