Provera is a test: The Provera is a test to see if there is any endometrium(lining of the womb) to shed when the medicine is stopped. Post pill amenorrhea is not always a "long term result of oral contraceptive pill use". Many patients were started on the "pill" as teenagers to "regulate the period" when in fact they were having trouble ovulating already. See a Fertility GYN MD who can follow up on the Provera Rx.
