Need education : You need to be educated about pros and cons about checking your sugars ,I am not sure you are diabetic or not but still see your PCP ,So he or she can advise about this

May be easier to use: Continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) may help some people better manage their diabetes by providing more information. The biggest pro is that it allows people to check their sugars to adjust dosing and timing of insulin without fingersticks. However, the sensor needs to be replaced every couple of weeks and may be more expensive than fingerstick glucose monitoring.
