Ignore it: Other than encouraging him to limit the activity to his private time,let him be.It is a normal part of emerging sexuality & more prevalent in early teens. As he makes his way through the confusing transition to adulthood, he will hear the multitude of myths about the activity.You don't need to focus any more negativity on the practice than he will get from his own sources.
