Chest and arm sympto: I recommend a prompt examination in the hospital emergency room in view of these symptoms. Stabbing chest pains may be due to lung pathology, pinched nerve or rib cage pathology. Associated arm numbness also occurs in cardiac disorders. Appropriate testing is best done in the emergency room setting.
