Hi, im 16 years old and ive been taking birth control for awhile now, and ive misplaced a pill so i just took the pill for the next day, so now my days are off, so for example for saturday ill be taking sundays pill. what do i do?

Some basics: The pill is usually either active (with hormone) or not (dummy pills). The date on a dosing card matters less than making sure you take the active pills every day until you reach the days with dummy pills. The active pills prevent egg release.No egg= no pregnancy. If you miss pills you may be at risk of pregnancy so use condoms as a backup.
