Not deadly at all!: Everybody gets genital HPV, often several -- it's pretty much unavoidable in anyone who has had more than 1-2 sex partners. Most cases cause no harm, no symptoms, and are cleared by the immune system. Some HPV types cause genital warts and others can develop (years later) into cancer, but almost all HPV cancers are entirely preventable (e.g. pap smears, vaccination). HPV cannot turn into HIV/AIDS.

Depends/no: HPV is a family if viruses. At least 7 strains have been associated with genital/cervical cancer & 2+strains with genital warts. They do not convert to HIV/aids. Some studies cite up to 70% of women have acquired infection by mid 20's. Primary infection clears in 2-3 yrs but cancer can arise years/decades later or never at all.
