Generally a single dose of azithromycin taken all at once is a standard treatment with a few secondary or tertiary meds as possibles.Sometimes the physician treating one partner will call in/prescribe for the 2nd partner in some states.If there is any risk of another STD at any point in this process a visit for a full screening is needed
