Vaccines: Good Afternoon. It is recommended before traveling to endemic regions for certain diseases ( this mean this diseases are very common in a certain place) to have vaccinations. In your specific case you could use a vaccination against yellow fever and hepatitis A. Also taking medication during the whole trip to prevent malaria may be needed.

Vaccinated?: See: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/mozambique When traveling to Mozambique, Hepatitis A & Typhoid are usually recommended along with anti- Malaria meds. Are you up to date on things like: measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine & flu shot?
