Sore anus: Possible causes are anal fissure, hemorrhoids, perianal infection such as abscess, perianal dermatitis or proctitis. An anorectal exam possibly including an anoscopy, would be needed in order to make a diagnosis. A proctologist or colorectal surgeon would be best ,for evaluation and treatment. In the meantime, apply warm water compresse; use a stool softener & glycerin rectal suppository for BM's
