Good day i have been taking vitex for about +/- 18 days. and have stopped taking it today, how long before it leaves my system? can it have delay ovulation and thus my period, because no sign of period on day 28

Vitex ?'s: Vitex is an extract of a plant ("chaste tree") which is used to ease PMS like symptoms. It is not going to affect your hormonal cycles, although on some occasions, ovulation is delayed naturally, and your period is not going to occur until fourteen days after this delay. If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test in about a week to make certain about pregnancy.
