Probably unnecessary: Standard injection treatment for gonorrhea (ceftriaxone) is nearly 100% effective; retesting soon after treatment is not recommended, unless you still have symptoms (discharge, uncomfortable urination, low abdominal pain if you're female, etc). But do get retetested after 3-4 months, recommended for all people with gonorrhea or chlamydia, to check for rare treatment failures and new infections.
