No cancer assoc.: Cancer is not expected to result from exposure to infrared radiation. Infrared radiation, or infrared light, is a type of radiant energy which is invisible to human eyes but that we can feel as heat. And so infrared saunas do not cause cancer & instead can potentially slow or stop the spread of cancer in affected patients. Best of luck with your health!
