A member asked:

I feel short of breath but no pain associated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: A person who has shortness of breath (with or without physical activities causing it) can see his doctor for help. If not just "out of shape," several possibilities need to be evaluated as soon as possible. There may be some failure in the heart or lungs, or a silent heart attack. There may be fluid around the heart or the lungs. His doctor or the ER doctor can assess possible causes.
