Cramping post menses: Cramping after a period ends and prior to ovulation may mean your "period" was not responsible for the bleeding, and you could be pregnant outside the uterus (ectopic). Get a serum HCG test to be certain. If negative, the cramping may be unrelated to your menstrual cycle. If positive, see your gyn asap for an exam and treatment.
