Acetaminophen/NSAIDs: Well, that depends on the nature of your pain, i.e., trauma vs. repetitive stress or overuse injury vs. osteoarthritis. For most MSKL injuries, acetaminophen and/or NSAIDs, alone or in combination, are sufficient to treat your pain. Physical therapy is also an excellent adjunct treatment. However, only an expert evaluation by a physician will allow for a proper diagnosis and plan of care.
