More info please: How long you have been coughing? If viral infection, antibiotics are not effective and cough will linger for weeks at times. Asthma can present as cough. Acid reflux can cause cough. My point is that the reasons for cough are many and more info is needed to pinpoint the reason. If significantly bothered see a doctor.
