A member asked:

Can masturbation cause vaginal infection and dysmenorrhea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some basics: Dysmenorrhea is unrelated to self stimulation activities. The vagina is a moist environment with secretions that will support growth of a variety of germs. If yous activities ever involve insertion of objects that are contaminated by germs this can alter the germ growth within & the mechanics of the process may trigger more secretions that sustain germs (and infection).
