Pregnant ?: Being "5 days late" may be due to a delayed ovulation, but assuming ovulation was 14 days prior to the first day of your expected period, home pregnancy tests are not always valid until later (another week or so). To be certain, obtain a serum HCG test which is very accurate for pregnancy. Ask your gyn physician about low dose oral bcp's for dependable birth control (if no contraindications).
