A member asked:

Can an abnormal papsmear cause consistent bv and prevent pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No to both: Abnormal PAP smear is not a cause of BV and it will certainly not prevent pregnancy. Get HPV vaccine. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex.
