Yes: Having had syphillis does not mean you can not conceive.

Maybe: Syphilis by itself differs from some of the other STD's in its pattern of action. Unlike chlamydia or gonorrhea, it does not attack a woman's internal structures and make many sterile. Syphilis does enter the blood stream and invade other body parts, and active disease during pregnancy can infect/kill /injure baby. If cured and no injury from other STD's, you and baby should be fine.
