Drug interactions: Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold contains acetaminophen, chlorpheniramine & phenylephrine. Per Drugs.Com drug interaction checker -when chlorpheniramine is mixed with alcohol it could lead to side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, or difficulty concentrating. In some situations, if there is an unhealthy liver - using acetaminophen with alcohol could contribute to more liver issues.
