Not particularly: I would consider turmeric a good natural alternative to agents like ibuprofen for its anti-inflammatory effects. However, I think its consumption for a focal issue like an anal fissure of hemorrhoids no more helpful than the ibuprofen. Focal issues like that benefit from focal use of anti-inflammatory creams/ointments.
