A member asked:

Is it recommended to see a chiropractic neurologist for autism spectrum disorder?

Chiro is not medical: No. A chiropractor is not a medical doctor. It is better to see a medical doctor such as a Child Psychiatrist, Child Neurologist, or a Developmental Pediatrician. Always have a primary pediatrician or family medicine doctor do a check for general problems, and he or she can refer to the other specialists. After seeing the doctors, a therapy plan can help modify some symptoms.

Ok: It is not a bad idea for chiropractic care to be included in the treatment of Autistic Individuals , keeping your spine on track is always helpful and can reduce the need for pharmaceutic intervention-
