A member asked:

My almost 3 year old is potty trained but the last couple of days she keeps wetting her pants. what could be causing this? does she need to see a dr?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good idea: Daytime wetting in a girl that age suggests irritation around the pee hole and or a urinary tract infection. At that age sitting in a tub of soapy water often exposes the tenter pee hole & vaginal opening to soap. If it is not rinsed well with clean soap free water it can lead to itching/digging & eventually push germs into the bladder. I would seek a urinalysis & exam.
