Check with old pics.: A cowlick will have been present from birth. Compare your current hair pattern with past pictures to see if your hair is thinner. Also have your doc check you out. Hair loss can sometimes be due to thyroid hormone or other hormone or lab abnormalities and you should be examined and tested to be sure you don't have a physical problem causing your hair loss.
