A member asked:

If blood test shows lymphocytes + eosinophile granulocytes are too low, what does this imply? (esr, thrombocytes, leukocytes, erythrocytes are normal)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually ok: Low levels of eosinophils are not usually of concern unless other white cell counts are also abnormally low.Lymphocytopenia is an abnormally low number of lymphocytes in the blood. Many disorders can decrease the number of lymphocytes in the blood, but viral infections and undernutrition are the most common.
