Winter dry skin: If your doc says ok and you are not on a blood thinner you can add more oil to your diet, i.e., olive oil, fish oil, avacado, etc. Topically you can use shea butter. Peace and good health.

Humidifier: The human skin does better in an environment with 30-40% humidity or more. During the winter months, in areas where the HVAC system does not include a built in humidifier the heat may dry the home below 10% which will dry your skin. Using a simple humidifier, can reduce the dry skin/dry-sore throat this environment will produce. You can monitor the effectiveness of the humidifier with a gauge.
