Cycles of 26-30 are : considered pretty regular. Having PMS symptoms of breast tenderness, water retention, and menstrual cramps are more common in women who ovulate. If you are trying to conceive, there are urine tests to check the LH surge, which precedes ovulation, although it doesn't confirm release of an egg from the ovary.
