Cervix/ ectopy: Cervical ectropion/ectopy /erosion is endocervix tissue( the inside of the cervix) found in the vagina The everted epithelium has a reddish appearance,like granulation tissue. Common in adolescents, pregnant women, or those taking estrogen-containing contraceptives. Vaginal discharge is the most common symptom. may have bleeding post sex. usually benign. r/o/ cancer w/ PAP f/u w/ MD
