PG can occur: The type of IUD that you have has a very small pregnancy rate of less than 3/100 (3%). However, when it fails then ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy outside of the uterus) is more likely to occur which can be life threatening if ruptured. Run a PG test and if it is "iffy" see a GYN MD who can rule in or out ectopic pregnancy.
