Discuss with dr: It is indeed possible that Statin -Type Medication May cause aching pain in muscles especially leg muscles and joints. Would recommend you to discuss with your primary and prescribing doctors, however, since it may not always be the case. Sometimes the physician may decide to stop the statin if he thinks of it as a possible culprit but this has to be done safely through physicians
