Breast skin tone: The fullness of breast skin prior to pregnancy or breast feeding stretches the elastic fibers, and breasts "lose" their shape. This may be slightly diminished by "gaining weight", but once stretched, the elastic fibers cannot be restored without corrective plastic surgery.

Do not overeat: Gaining weight to plump up breasts is unlikely to work, your friend's experience notwithstanding. Most of the weight you gain will to your belly or butt. If you must, consider breast augmentation surgery.
