Oral bcp's: With today's "low dose" oral bcp's, it is important to take the active pills punctually (within the hour of taking the prior day's active pill. Stop the pill now, wait five days and start a new pack of pills, taking them at the same time each evening. If pregnancy is possible, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain, and see your gyn provider if the test is positive immediately.
