"two week period"?: If pregnancy is possible, get a serum HCG test to be certain of pregnancy. There are multiple causes for prolonged vaginal bleeding, so if the test is negative, see your gyn provider for an exam and further testing: causes can be uterine polyps, fibroids, incomplete miscarriage, etc.
