I am 52 years old and had a heart attack 18 months ago my bp is 85/138 is this ok?

Reversed: Your blood pressure must be 138/83. This is OK for your age but not ideal. Would like the bottom number(diastolic pressure) to be more in the 70-80 range and the top number(systolic pressure) to be closer to the 120-130 range. Your pressure is still in safe range. Follow your cardiologists recommendations and help yourself by watching diet, not smoking, and getting regular exercise even if lowlevel

No: Current guidelines in the US recommend systolic BP less than 130, and diastolic less than 80 t reduce future cardiac events. See your provider to discuss some medication adjustment.
