Ive slight spotting/discharge 1 wk before period. this happens once every 4-6 mos, lasts 1 day. lowogestrol, not new. what can it be?

Agree with Dr. E: Mid-cycle spotting is not uncommon. It is a response to the normal drop in endocrine levels at mid-cycle.
Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, and get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
