Based on a previous question on whether kombucha tea promotes weight loss the doctor responded with it could cause liver toxicity. i would like more info on how and what are acceptable daily portions of kombucha tea?

Kombucha: I did not read the earlier entry. There have been some case reports of hepatotoxicity with Kombucha. It would be more likely to cause a problem if there is a pre-existing health problem.
