A member asked:

I took 15mg of meloxicam an hour after an mri with contrast didn't know not to. now its been 8 days & still have pain in my joints, will i get better?

MRI: There is some concern that NSAID medications may alter MRI findings in joints by reducing inflammation. Also they may have adverse effects on the kidneys which do the job of excreting the contrast material. I don't think you caused joint pains by taking meloxicam. Ask your physician about some treatment for your current joint pains.
